My best writing resource of the month is Ann Patchett’s annotated edition of Bel Canto. This sounds more earnest than I mean it to but it’s given me permission to revise -- I know this is against all the advice I’ve paid so much money for other people to give me -- at the line level. It’s a real delight and my favorite use of $28 in recent memory.

LOVE Bel Canto! (Reading it got me into opera for a brief period of time). I need to check this out!

I'm with you on the handwriting thing, but I think I do some worthwhile editing when I transfer it over. I'm not sure the robot could help me with that. =) Cheers!

Oh, absolutely! Great editing happens while transcribing.

Fab wrap up! Yes I also take screenshots of relevant writing stuff: and only circle back occasionally. Goal: create albums. I have successfully created an album of recent book covers I love (small win!)

That should be my next step — to sort the screenshots into albums. Much less daunting if you have under 18,000 photos 😆
